Across the peaks and valleys of the Himalayas, culture isn’t history.
It’s alive.
A line of prayer carried on the wind.
A song passed from one voice to another.
Rituals that hold a thousand mornings.
Recipes that taste like home.
Stories that travel farther than any road.
Art that keeps it all breathing.
Thirty artists from across the Himalayan region, plus a select few from around the world, will gather in a mountain valley for a private two-week residency to share rituals, create collaboratively, and slow down into the rhythms of mountain life.
Mornings begin with yoga or meditation. Days unfold with monastery visits, guided hikes, art and writing workshops, and foraging walks with chefs. Evenings come alive with music, poetry, theatre, storytelling, and shared meals under the stars.
A travelling exhibition of works created during the residency, capturing artists’ experiences in a collective body. Touring galleries in Kathmandu and beyond, it offers audiences a chance to engage with the art and stories, even if they did not attend the festival.
