Travel & Stay
The festival takes place in a remote village in northeast Nepal, surrounded by monasteries, forests, and terraced fields.
This is not a luxury retreat. Guesthouses are simple and rustic, clean and comfortable, and run with the warmth of Himalayan hospitality. Meals are seasonal and locally sourced, prepared by our chefs together with village kitchens.
Getting here is part of the adventure. Small flights, winding mountain roads, and walking trails all lead to the valley. After booking, we will provide detailed travel options and advice to help you prepare.
The Festival Experience
The rhythm of the festival is unhurried, giving you space to settle into the mountain way of life. Each day weaves together creativity, spirituality, and community.
Mornings begin with yoga, meditation, or quiet teachings.
Daytimes bring village walks, monastery visits, and hands-on workshops in cooking, woodblock printing, and Himalayan paper-making.
Community connections include farm visits, shared meals, art viewing, and exchanges with local families.
Evenings fill with music, storytelling, theater, and shared rituals under the stars.Quiet spaces offer guided meditations, Dharma talks, and conversations with artists.
Every moment is an opportunity to connect with yourself, with others, and with the living traditions of the Himalayas.
